PSO's Residential Service Electric Vehicle (RSEV) rate schedule became effective January 30, 2025, and is available to any PSO residential customer who uses a plug-in electric vehicle. The schedule divides the year into an on-peak season (June through October) and an off-peak season (November through May). Within the on-peak season, peak hours run from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on weekdays. A super off-peak window of 11:00 pm to 6:00 am applies all days of the week year-round. The base service charge is $17.00 per month. Specific per-kWh energy charges for each pricing tier are published in PSO's tariff Schedule RSEV; customers should confirm current rates at psoklahoma.com/ratesandtariffs before making enrollment decisions.

PSO offers a $200 rebate for ENERGY STAR-certified Level 2 smart EV chargers through its Power Forward with PSO program. Customers must be PSO residential account holders and apply within 45 days of purchase with a receipt. The program page lists no end date, so confirm funding is still open before buying. PSO also offers Charge Choice, a managed-charging program run through WeaveGrid that pays enrolled customers $60 to $120 a year for allowing brief adjustments to home charging timing. PSO's business EV page lists no commercial charger rebate amount, only optional commercial EV rates and fleet partner services. The RSEV rate and the charger rebate are independent programs; enrolling in one does not require or preclude the other.

PSO serves a large footprint across eastern and southwestern Oklahoma, including the Tulsa metro area, operating as a fully vertically integrated utility under Oklahoma Corporation Commission jurisdiction. Oklahoma does not have a deregulated retail electricity market, so PSO customers cannot switch suppliers. The RSEV tariff on file was authorized by the OCC effective January 30, 2025. PSO filed a new base rate review with the OCC on January 2, 2026. While that case is pending, an Interim Rate Adjustment of 8.95 percent of residential base rate charges has applied to bills rendered on and after July 1, 2026, subject to refund, and final RSEV prices may change; confirm current rates with PSO before enrolling.
