Why this guide exists
Most EV charging guides are written by manufacturers, retailers, or affiliate sites with a financial stake in what you buy. This one isn't. We wrote it because the information we needed when setting up our own home charging didn't exist in one plain, trustworthy place. It's free because we don't make money from recommending specific products. We make money from being a site people trust enough to return to.
